Las semillas y los frutos arqueológicos: aportación a la reconstrucción paleoambiental
Main Article Content
Abstract
The contribution of seeds and fruits analyses to the paleoecological reconstruction is minor of the one of the other paleobotanical studies. Of all ways its contribution is very important because it allows identify some plants since species level. Nevertheless, the problems in their interpretation are multiple and it makes its paleoecological interpretation very complex. The main difficulty derives from the fact that most of the remains comes from archaeological sites. They arrive there like direct or indirect result from an anthropic activity. Seed and fruits of wild plants are the best environmental indicators and they are conserved mainly in anaerobic conditions. Then, the archaeological sites situated in humid environments are the most suitables for paleoecological studies.
