Abstract
The economic value of the environment. Environmental economy and its Nemesis, ecological economy, began to worry about the environment in the decade of the 70s, although from different points of view. Environmental economy has developed numerous valuation methodologies, which are reviewed here as an approach to the "sustainable development" concept and to the economic value of the environment.
