After many years of hosting by Rey Juan Carlos University, for which we are very grateful, Ecosistemas has upgraded to OJS 3.5 and has migrated to the hosting services of the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

How?

From this year onwards, upon payment of the professional plan fee to PKP, the journal will be hosted by PKP and will receive their technical support. Not only does PKP provide hosting, it also develops Open Journal Systems (OJS), the free, open-source publishing software that Ecosistemas uses for editorial management.

What does this mean?

As well as the advantages for Ecosistemas of having technical support from the OJS developers, the fee is reinvested directly into developing the open-source OJS software that PKP offers to the academic community free of charge, supporting real open access to science.
