In compliance with the provisions of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, and its implementing regulations, we inform the User that the data collected through any data collection forms on this Website will be treated confidentially and will be included in the personal data files owned by the Spanish Association of Terrestrial Ecology (AEET) registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency under number 2153632042.

Your personal data will be used to respond to your request for information, the management and provision of the services offered by the AEET, and for the sending of future communications that may be of interest to you.

Access and use of the Website by the user implies that he/she accepts in full and undertakes to comply completely with the terms and conditions set out in this Privacy Policy, as well as in the provisions contained in the sections on Intellectual Property, Legal Notice, Cookies Policy and, where appropriate, the Contracting Conditions specified for each service.

The AEET guarantees the confidentiality of the personal data provided and compliance with all applicable regulations.

The AEET may process your personal data in accordance with the following purposes, depending on the form completed in each case:

  • To manage your browsing through the Website.
  • Manage your user registration and identify you as a ‘registered user’ with the corresponding status in order to show you content and information according to your interests.
  • To carry out electronic registration and payment activities relating to membership of the AEET and participation in events organised or co-organised by the AEET.
  • Manage and appropriately promote the content of advertisements (e.g. notices about grants, workshops, courses and other events related to the scope of the AEET, etc.).
  • To manage the fulfilment, maintenance, development and control of any relations that the AEET maintains with the User.
  • To carry out statistical and profile management studies. In such cases, only statistical information will be provided and the information that allows the identification of a person will be kept absolutely confidential.
  • Any other purpose that is specifically reflected in the corresponding legends and/or particular conditions of the data collection form, in order to attend to the different types of relations that may be maintained with the User depending on each case.

All fields marked with an asterisk (*) on these forms must be completed, so that the omission of any of them could make it impossible to deal with your request.

By clicking on the ‘Send’ button (or equivalent) incorporated in the aforementioned forms, the User guarantees that the personal data provided is true and is responsible for communicating any changes to them. The User will be solely responsible for any damage or harm, direct or indirect, that may be caused to the AEET or to any third party as a result of filling in the forms with false, inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date data. In the event that the User includes personal data of third parties must, prior to their inclusion, inform them of the provisions of this privacy policy, being solely responsible for their inclusion.

The AEET will not share personal data of clients with any third party, unless the client expressly authorizes such transfers or the transfer of their data is necessary to maintain the provision of the service requested by the user.

Please note that the AEET may provide personal information to the competent authorities when required to do so in accordance with current legislation.

Rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition

We inform you that you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in accordance with the provisions of Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, by requesting it by any means that provides proof of sending and receipt and sending a copy of your ID card or equivalent document.
