Abstract

Flora and vegetation of conservacionist interest of Sierra Madrona and surroundings (Ciudad Real, Sierra Morena, Spain).


The following environmental study focuses on the identification, from a conservationist point of view, of the habitat can be found in Sierra Madrona and surroundings. In addition, it makes a valuation from main kind of vegetation to diverse parameters: fragility and vulnerability, singularity, botanical diversity, maturity, isolation and others. It also recognize the main threats that affect the survival of the species of protected flora and emphasize the most vulnerable habitats: humid zones and deciduous forests. Finally, it makes a general diagnosis of the state of conservation of the territory and proposes to declare as Natural Park.
