Abstract

Fernando González Bernáldez and the origins of environmental education in Spain. F. González Bernáldez played a very relevant role in the origins of Spain’s environmental education. The author of the present paper reviews his own interactions with González Bernáldez and the evolution of the views and concerns that he observed in that great ecologist, and the relevance of his intellectual and ethical legacy.
