Franco vetó por “anarquista” a Fernando González Bernáldez para dirigir la Estación Biológica de Doñana
Main Article Content
Abstract
This short communication shows that there was a political operation in 1975-1980 to launch an environmental as well as a political transition. In 1975 Fernando González Bernáldez, then aged 43, was invited to take part in two different moves by key figures of Spanish environmentalism, José Antonio Valverde and Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente. Both of them sought Bernáldez’s participation as that of an outstanding person, ready to meet important challenges.
